Back in 2012, husband and wife, Michael & Lily, had a dream to create a company that would give teens around the world super cool, affordable phone cases and accessories. And so, Fun Cases was born!
From the start, we knew that quality had to be our top priority. That's why we made the decision to hand-print and finish all of our products right here in the UK. It's a labour-intensive process, but we know it's worth it when we see the final product. And because we do everything in-house, we're able to offer free personalisation on almost everything we sell. Whether you want your name, your favourite quote, or a funky design, we've got you covered.

Michael
With a background in web design and eCommerce, Michael co-founded Fun Cases with his wife, Lily, back in 2012. Since then, he’s juggled growing the business with launching four other ventures, raising three kids, and moving house four times (clearly, he loves a challenge!).
When he’s not steering the Fun Cases ship, you’ll find him watching Formula 1, enjoying a good yogurt, or hanging out with the family’s furry crew—Wiggles the sausage dog and guinea pigs Fluffy and Cinnamon. Just don’t offer him pork… it’s a firm no!
Lily
As co-founder of Fun Cases (and Michael’s better half), Lily started out in marketing before wearing just about every hat in the business. After taking time to focus on raising their three children, she’s now back in full swing, keeping everything running smoothly and stepping in wherever needed.
A firm believer in the power of self-care (when the kids allow it!), Lily loves a good pamper session and catching up on sleep. Early mornings, however, are definitely not her thing—coffee first, then we talk!
Matt
Matt wears many hats at Fun Cases—head of social media, marketing guru, IT support (especially for technophobe Peter), and our go-to innovations officer. If there’s a problem to solve or a new idea to test, Matt’s on it. Honestly, we’d be lost without him!
When he’s not keeping everything running smoothly, you’ll find him indulging in his love for food or cheering on Southampton. Just don’t offer him anything with cream—it’s a hard pass!
Peter
Peter is the backbone of the warehouse, keeping everything running like clockwork and making sure orders fly out the door on time. With a no-nonsense approach and a knack for efficiency, he’s got the logistics side of Fun Cases down to a fine art—just don’t ask him to fix a computer! (That’s what Matt’s for.)
When he’s not keeping the warehouse in check, Peter enjoys spending time with his family. However, mushrooms and remembering passwords? Not a fan of either!
Kira
The world’s best graphic designer (official title, obviously), Kira has creativity running through her veins. Her unique style is the heartbeat of Fun Cases, perfectly pairing with the brand—like a phone case and a fungrip! If it looks amazing, chances are Kira designed it.
Outside of work, she’s all about food and gaming, though early mornings are definitely not her thing. Oh, and Matt’s knee tattoos? A big no from her!
Tony
Known affectionately as the "old man" of the team, Tony is the chief picker (orders, not boogers!) and packer, making sure everything gets where it needs to be. With a sharp eye for detail and a steady hand, he keeps the Fun Cases workshop running smoothly.
When he’s not busy packing up orders, Tony is all about rock music and films. However, you won’t catch him anywhere near heights—or a German Shepherd!
Lauren
Possibly the happiest person on the planet, Lauren is the friendly face (or inbox reply) behind all customer enquiries. Whether it’s sorting orders, answering questions, or spreading good vibes, she’s always on hand to help with a smile.
When she’s not brightening up our customers’ day, she’s keeping up with all the latest reality TV drama. But spiders? Absolutely not!

2012
Humble Beginnings
Fun Cases started from a tiny desk inside a walk-in wardrobe (full-on Harry Potter vibes). Fresh out of school and juggling an apprenticeship, I spent every spare moment side-hustling from 6am to midnight. It was just me and Lily (marketing genius), taking on the world one phone case at a time!
2017
Commitment Issues
A few years, a few jobs, a baby, and a wedding later, I finally took the plunge into full-time self-employment. With Lily embracing mum life, I quit my job to focus on Fun Cases full-time—still from the trusty wardrobe office!
2019
The Dream Team
With Fun Cases growing steadily, it was time for the next big step—hiring our first team members! We brought on a graphic designer and a marketing assistant, both working remotely. Our version of a boardroom? Weekly catch-ups down the local pub! 🍻
2020
Pandemic Pivot
With demand soaring and our supplier struggling to keep up, we took matters into our own hands—literally! We brought production in-house, rented our first-ever warehouse/workshop, invested in printing machinery, and expanded the team by three. A wild leap, but we've never looked back.
2022
Growing and glowing
With demand still booming, we moved our office across the road to free up more warehouse space. This meant more room for new products—hello, laptop sleeves and lunchboxes! Bigger space, bigger ideas!
2024
Home Sweet Warehouse
With business still booming, we upgraded once more—this time into a warehouse unit right next door. A quick bit of DIY (aka knocking a hole in the wall), and the team was finally reunited. No more dashing across the road in the rain—result!
