Especially during the summer holidays when your out with your friends, trying to make those selfies nice for your Instagram or Snapchat stories. Well, what if I told you that I had a few special tips and tricks up my sleeve to help to get that flawless, Insta-perfect skin in time for summer 2018? You’ve got all the advice you need, right at your fingertips without the need for expensive facials. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back ????.
YOU GOTTA DRINK WATER! Trust me, water is going to have to be your best friend between now and summer. Whether you’ve got dry or oily skin or suffer with acne, water will definitely help to clear your skin up. It will hydrate your skin. Not only this but water will restore and regulate levels in your body, such as your hormone levels. If your hormones are regulated and fully restored, it will reduce your risks of an acne breakout and having dry or oily skin. However, to much water can lead to water intoxication. This means that its important to know the difference between the right amount of water for your body and a water overload.
Now, I’m pretty sure that anyone who wears makeup has been told many a time that makeup is bad for your skin and it blocks up your pores. Well, they’re not wrong. Now, I’m not going to be a negative Nancy and tell you that you cannot wear makeup if you want to have clearer skin. But I can advice you on how to get clearer skin whilst wearing it. One way to reduce the risk of unclear skin whilst using makeup related products, is to make sure that you fully wash off all of your makeup before going to bed. This is as the longer the products are on your skin, the worse it clogs and blocks up your pores. So, it you fully wash or cleanse it off your face, the better it is for your pores! And if this doesn’t apply to you, umm… hello! This next bit may be a bit more useful to you ????.
One thing that I’ve heard is to rinse cold water on your face after a shower. When you come into contact with hot and steamy water, it opens up your pores. This then exposes your skin to all kinds of germs. In order to close your pores back up, you just rinse your face with cold water. Now I’m not too sure if this works, but I thought I’d share it with you guys just in case it’s something you wanted to try. As we’re on this topic one other thing that you can try to get that flawless skin, is to make sure that you wash your hands before washing your face. This is to try and get rid of some of the germs on your hands before putting your hands on your face.
Now the big one that you’ve all probably been waiting for is the, “Eating healthier can improve your skin!”. Let’s be honest, we all know that it’s true. Fruits and vegetables have all kinds of nutrients and vitamins that can be very good for your skin. What is it they say? 5 a day keeps the acne and oily skin away? Oh, that’s not it is it...
Finally, what about trying some face masks and scrubs? These can really clear up your skin and get rid of anything that may be blocking your pores. Especially ones with charcoal or those peel off masks that get rid of black heads. They leave your skin looking flawless and oil free!
Well that’s it from me. I really hope this blog helped you’re a little bit and gave you the advice you need for that glowing looking skin.
