Harry Edward Styles is a British singer songwriter whose claim to fame started in 2010 when he auditioned for the X-factor at the young age of 16. Despite being eliminated early on he was called back to form arguably the biggest boy band of all time, One direction. Since then the band split and Harry released three solo albums, so of course we have to share our top 3 all time favourite Harry Styles songs.
1 - Kiwi (Self Titled) Back with a bang, Styles released his first solo album ‘Harry Styles’ in 2017 with the 7th track being ‘Kiwi’. With a rocky riff and catchy lyrics this sound came as a surprise to fans. This was a new sound that Styles had brought to the table, never having done anything similar before. Gaining traction on the likes of TikTok and other social media platforms, the sound instantly became popular allowing fans to discover a new side of Styles that they hadn’t seen before.
2 - Treat People With Kindness (Fine Line) From Styles second album, ‘Fine Line’, released in 2019 came the instant hit ‘Treat People With Kindness’. This upbeat tune quickly became the staple at all his shows. With incredible back up vocals from New York indie-pop band Lucius, Treat People With Kindness holds an important message and makes the perfect addition to your feel good playlist.
3 - Matilda (Harry’s house) From Styles' most recent album, ‘Harry’s House’, released last year, this song was quick to tug on the heart strings of many fans. In this track we get to hear a real vulnerability in Styles' song writing. With a soft beat and gentle guitar chords this song helped create a real sense of unity and belonging within his fan base. Despite being one of the more melancholy tracks on the album, it’s still a great tune.
