As one of the world's biggest bands, Coldplay's hiatus has been felt by music fans across the globe. The question on everyone's mind is: will they tour again?
What Have They Done?
There is no doubt that Coldplay is a touring machine. In their 20-year career, they have played over 500 shows in more than 50 countries. They have headlined some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and Coachella. They have even performed for the Queen at Buckingham Palace!
Some of their hits include "Yellow," "Viva La Vida," "Fix You", and "Adventure of a Lifetime." Their shows have a reputation for being spectacular, with lavish production values and anthemic sing-along moments. However, touring can be gruelling, and it seems that the band may be ready for a break.
In an interview with BBC Radio 2 in 2016, Chris Martin hinted that the band might take a break after their next album. "We would never say never to touring again, but I think we will take a little bit of time off," he said.
The band has been on something of a hiatus since 2017 when they released their last album, "A Head Full of Dreams." They have not toured since then, and there are no plans for any live shows in the near future.
What Will They Do?
So, it's no surprise that their recent decision to take a break from touring has left many people wondering if they will ever hit the road again.
Only time will tell!
