3 Books You Have To Read Right Now

So I'm a bookworm and I have no shame in proclaiming my love for books. I practically force my friends to read what I'm reading at that precise time so I can talk to them about the book. However I felt like I needed a more in depth talk about books with people who really understand the meanings behind the story so what better way to talk about it then a blog.

Recently I have splashed too much cash on books but I have to admit I don't mind, the books I'm about to list are not only heart warming , poignant and exhilarating they are beautifully worded and the story lines are definitely not your usual love story's.

1. The Sun Is Also A Star
Lately I have fell in love with the author Nicola Yoon her stories are beautifully crafted and she really captures the essence of teenage romance. I devoured 'The Sun is also a star' in only one sitting. I connected with the characters and felt each of their pains as if they were my own. The story felt almost normal compared to other romance novels. I say this because at the end of the book they don't live happily ever after instead it highlights the struggles of long distance relationships which the rest of society shy away from writing about and how even when you think you've found the one sometimes love just isn't meant to be. I found this to not only be extremely relatable but also a strong message to people of all ages that you can't force yourself or someone into love which the character Natasha states so perfectly. Natasha is a strong willed independent teen age girl who is days away from being deported back to Jamaica and Daniel is a loveable gentle character that you can't help but fall in love with from the very first chapter. Expect to fall in love with the characters and follow along with them and their problematic lives.

2. If I Was Your Girl
The second book i want to write about is called "If i was your girl" by Meredith Russo. This book is about a struggling teenage transgender female and how she survives moving to a new state and the nausea of starting high school. In the story Amanda tried to forget her traumatic past as Andrew and excel in her new life as Amanda. As you follow Amanda through the story you will experience topics such as suicide, love, friendship and secrets. Amanda has a secret and she intends to keep it a secret but how long until someone finds out about her past life as Andrew. The story will give you a glimpse into the never ending struggles transgender people experience. Furthermore the story is extremely educational and thought provoking and excellently addresses serious topics which all teens should be able to talk about whilst also being powerful, poignant and truly inspiring.

3. All The Bright Places
Finally i have saved in my opinion the best till last. "All the bright places" is by far my all time favourite book and has been for a year now. The story follows a charming yet heartbreaking love story of an unlikely pair of brocken teenagers. Violet and Finch. Who are two fragile, wildy damaged teens who exprience the journey of tragedy, joy and heartbreak together, because sometimes love can be found at the worst of times from the strangest of people. The heart warming novel expresses the pain of having a mental illness without being patronizing towards anyone with an illness. After feeling his pain as if it were your own Finch will linger in your mind well after finishing the chapter and in my case well after i had finished the book. The book also showcases how we should always be on the lookout for signs of depression as sometimes even when a person seems to be their happiest they're are irreplaceably brocken inside. Be prepared for tears and indeniable heartache as you see how far they will both go for love
